That is a great graphic thank you. While 25 is bigger than 24 it may end quicker... seeing as half of it is already .. could be rite ...could drop like a stone over the next few yrs .. just like 22 ?

I don't really want to enter old age with freezing weather but on the other hand I shall be delighted if it causes certain climate predictors to fall flat on their faces.

Interesting, very little growing sunspot activity on the sun's near side and only a single spot area showing on the far side that will appear in the next few days.
Most of the earth-facing groups are either shrinking or stable, so the total SN value is likely to fall in the next few days, despite a couple of strange increases which have disappeared in less than 24 hours so seem to be a mis-count of some sort.
In any case August's peak of activity is now fading away, I wonder if we will see some increase soon or if the long slide towards solar minimum has begun.

"THEY" will be retiring further south on their ill-derived gains. While their disciples continue to insist (against gathering evidence) that they are not stupid or corrupt.

A quick look there reveals some very interesting reports of extreme cold temperatures all over the world, northern and southern hemispheres, east and west.
-24.6C in the Italian Alps right at the end of summer, unprecedented for this time of year.
Must dig out my thermal underwear

Beginning of the descent down the back slope of the last solar cycle into Zharkova's upcoming minimum. The high ground flanking the middle of the Gulf ~ Alabama slightly north may be the best climate on the north of the Gulf for warmth and water. Placed for dodging the worst effects of the occasional TS/hurricane.

Have to be in Rochester on the 25th for echo cardiogram. Figured might as well keep going south. Made the knee appointment last spring when I could barely walk. At least I can walk pretty well now according to my smart watch. I keep hitting my step target by noon most days. (Spud harvest will do that. LOL.)
