Oz is going the same way.
Our wonderful Energy Minister has just announced a plan for a $A 75 per ton carbon tax on heavy industry emissions.
He obviously does not want us to have steel, cement, .............. industries.
The companies will just shut.

I repeat the question for the legal minds in the audience. Are there legal charges that can be brought against those aiding and abetting policies/actions that result in great harm?

If there isn't there certainly should be Another thought. Maybe climate scientists need to be licensed to practice their trade. Then they could be "disbarred" for gross misconduct ... similar to lawyers.
Attorneys are usually disbarred one-state (or one jurisdiction) at a time. In general, lawyers are disbarred for those offenses that indicate an inability to practice law with honesty, integrity, etc. Besides disbarment, there are other ways for an attorney to lose their license. Disbarment is not always permanent.

How about.
The terrorism act, says Terrorism is an act or threat, that is intended to advance a political, ideological or religious cause or coerce or intimidate an Australia or Foreign government or the public.
That must be able to be acted on to bring UN, WEF and WHO infiltrators in Public service, Government, and in general the whole community. as well as all the other self serving groups.
I think the original law mention hanging as the punishment ?
