The miracle of China post about 1990 is real but not as real as proffered.
BS catches you up and I think we are close to a reckoning.

Business 101. Don't piss off your customers. For years China has stolen technology from the west, subsidized their business' to give an unfair advantage to gain market share and now they are funding Putin's war in Europe. In addition they are saber rattling in the South China Sea and against Taiwan. It may not be a good idea to try to usurp the United States as the worlds reserve currency and expect to keep your "favorite trading status". Note to Xi Ping Pong it's not "bullying" it's good business. The only thing I can say positive about the Biden Administration is the fact they kept the tariffs in place and actually continued the get tough on China policy Trump started.

BRICS is now a bigger economy then the G7. China is saber ratteling? Here is the official position of the US government on Taiwan: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_ChinaI encourage you to go on the US State department website and read their official position. The USA has surrounded China with their military bases tens of thousands of miles from the USA. The USA does not contest China's position, that Taiwan is a part of China, but is constantly threatening sanctions and war on China's border with respect to Taiwan, while sending navy ships through the South China Sea. The USA continues to send billions of USD worth of weapons to Taiwan. The USA has also sent politicians to Taiwan and acknowledges the USA has an unofficial relationship with Taiwan. Who is saber ratteling? Consumers pay these import tariffs (not China). Additionally, China has a monopoly on electric vehicles. USA manufacturers get their components from China. The price of these components will just go up, and the consumer will pay more. apnews.com/article/taiwan-china-biden-inauguration-delegation-chingte-769809422583a8c008f0674cb2201228

China and India can't even get along... China EV car sales amount to nothing in the US. I certainly would not call it a "monopoly" when compared to Tesla. In addition EV sales in the United States are falling off a cliff, so I am not to worried about the consumer paying more... International courts have ruled against China's territorial claims in the South China Sea. Their claims are nonsensical. Economically China needs a market for their cheap crap much more than the US needs the garbage they produce. As we decouple from China our consumers will pay more no doubt. But the money we pay will stay home and fuel our economy instead of China's. The biggest beneficiary of the west decoupling from China will be Mexico.

As a currency bloc, the BRICS is not a thing. Not even by miles. Those countries wouldn't even be able to agree where to meet for lunch, let alone jointly manage their currencies.

That's about right Glen one possible black spot will be measured inflation which may rise with goods costing more.
Quite strange to see Biden and Trump trying to out do each other on Chinese tariffs.
How long can the CAGW charade keep going without Chinese low cost of subsidized production of solar panels etc.
