Like they say about football, "that's why they play the games".. besides, would you really want to trust those people with a more lethal military? They have more contempt for you than they actually do for China. I'll bet China is getting more utility for every shekel spent on killing machines than the USA is.

I was skeptical that China would invade Taiwan this soon. But the last 30 years of economic prosperity has given the Chinese people a taste of capitalism, freedom and wealth. As the economic situation degrades and turns to despair the pressure on Xi Ping Pong will ratchet up. It is clear to me that the Chinese government has no clue on how fix the economy. Manufacturing is sinking and the housing bubble will take years and years to sort out. Xi Ping Pong does not have years and years. You put any bureaucrat in the world in a tough situation and one thing is certain. He will deflect the blame. In this case the finger of blame will point to the west and Taiwan. He has built up the Chinese military for a reason and he is going to use it. I cannot believe that Taiwan is just waiting for a swarm of Chinese landing craft to show up along their coast. Given the advances in drone technology and testing, I gotta believe that Taiwan is gonna give Mama Xi a hot old time before they ever make it to shore. They may not even need much of our help. Chinese fleet and artificial reef may become synonymous. I don't think they will go without a fight but the massive amount of numbers the Chinese will throw at them will be hard to fight off.

Beginning with a massive cyber attack.

How much for a rent-a-soldier? Glenn. Sites like China Insider and others are pushing the China is dissolving message. Outside investors withdrawing. Outrageous unemployment. Mayhem generally. Propaganda? Truth? Is China Insider a Taiwanese Government pub?

I just bought a nice somewhat heavy duty core drilling rig directly from China, total delivered price to my yard $2914. It is a significant trailer mounted machine with a diesel engine and two hydraulic systems. At a glance I would estimate the price to be around 20 to $30k for a specialized piece of equipment. How do they do it??? Wish me luck that it works out lol.

I like to knock China as much as anyone.. but in fairness I have bought industrial items from China a few times, and my personal experience so far is that their companies are reliable and professional and knowledgeable. We have also found the Chinese tools to mostly be well-made and a good value. I do have some experience. knock on wood...

I don't think the "China is dissolving" message is realistic. They have deep seated economic and demographic problems but I don't think they are collapsing. My biggest fear is their leadership. Communist dictators are not know for making the best decisions when it comes to their people. Something like 100 million people died between the Soviet Union and China under communist rule in the 20th century? That's more than enough history to make me uneasy.

With that being said every consumer has to make a choice and everything has a price point. How on earth did they build that core drilling rig and ship it here at that price point? I would think the shipping alone would be more. It reeks of desperation, dumping and Chinese government subsidies. You could probably buy 10 of those cheap Chinese rigs for the price of one built here in the US. I am not knocking you, at that price point I would give it a try as well. Good Luck! Let us know how it works. I have watched many similar Youtube videos on just this topic, "Is it worth it"? In most cases it is...

Let us know how it works. I have watched many similar Youtube videos on just this topic, "Is it worth it"? In most cases it is... I know that is the common knowledge, but (IMO) that has changed. When I was a kid in the early 70's, Japan was not known for making "quality" cars. For example, we're running a Harbor Freight Honda knock-off engine which might be even better than it's Honda counterpart. This thing is smooth running. It uses a real oil pump rather than a simple splash design which is used by 99% of American Briggs and Stratton engines. We use it in a harsh, dusty environment and already have worked the hell out of it. I do also have the Honda version of this engine. The Chinese knockoff is just as good, maybe even better. We go through tools and I find that the metallurgy and heat treating of the Chinese tools is just fine. For perspective, this is much much better quality than a "quality" US made Briggs and Stratton rough running joke of an engine. (Briggs also has a high end line called "Vanguard" which is first rate but well over $2k. I have a large V-twin one on a stone chopper. It ought to be good for the price.) www.harborfreight.com/158-hp-459cc-max-performance-ohv-horizontal-shaft-gas-engine-epa-58383.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=19230525088&campaignid=19230525088&utm_content=150063559811&adsetid=150063559811&product=58383&store=&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAwP6sBhDAARIsAPfK_wbVI1A4nkmzRIhjjMaieacI8w1oVnix6SYWDEXVzkeCone_gn3owQQaAjwqEALw_wcB
