I'm not a fan of one of those almanacs, but I usually like the one most accurate...

Hi Theodore, What happens to the global weather patterns after the current La Nina ends later this year? Do the current trends flip? Meaning better weather for food production or is that too simplistic? Thank you I believe Theo has addressed your question before, but let's see if he has the time to do so again. If he doesn't you can find his thoughts in old threads and I would also suggest looking, if you can, on the old cycle 24 site. Perhaps one of the other admins can bring over one of his posts? I would do it, but I don't exist on 24.

They are a little late to the party. And with the standard timidity of true bureaucrats, they jump in after the issue is settled. Why do they even exist? Better to toss them on the streets and feed the poor.

“I ask, Who are the militia? They consist now of the whole people, except a few public officers. But I cannot say who will be the militia of the future day. If that paper on the table gets no alteration, the militia of the future day may not consist of all classes, high and low, and rich and poor; but they may be confined to the lower and middle classes of the people, granting exclusion to the higher classes of the people.”

Thanks, and I have address that question before, and i short, yes, 2023 will be better in some regions for better food production (I've forecast a stormy winter this year (but brief) and an early spring 2023 with an Indian Summer for the northern hemisphere in 2023.

You'd be wise to have your cords of wood stocked, plus a generator or two will be handy this winter. It will be a brief winter, but intense nonetheless.

October 31, 2022 Record-Breaking Cold and Snow is Forecast by the Models. Can It Really Be True?
I have to tell you about this, even though some of the forecasts are crazy extreme.
So don't worry about wildfires, drought, or lack of snowpack---we are now entering a period of massively cold, wet weather. The yin and yang of the weather is quite evident.
