I still contend the NE is well within my normal experience and expectations. Certainly have seen cold earlier than this year. Same here. But there is an old Missouri saying. If you don't like the current weather, just wait a while.

It's been a roller coaster temperature wise here in SE Texas. Early season cold fronts roll through, cool it off nicely and then it warms back up over the next few days. Overall pretty much normal... spacecityweather.com/

The weather in the UK so far in November has been very mild, hardly any frosts and the leaves on the trees are looking colourful and just beginning to fall.

The weather in the UK so far in November has been very mild, hardly any frosts and the leaves on the trees are looking colourful and just beginning to fall. 25th Cross model agreement atm, the Arctic is poised to make a visit. Huge northerly setup. Come this weekend, IF things remain consistent I reckon you'll hear BBC forecasters mentioning something interesting is in store. It's actually quite unusual to get this much consistency at this range. Gfs had it last week. Last time all the models agreed this far out was 2018 BFTE.
