It's going to get colder - and faster - during the first week of November Missouriboy. I forecasted winter to a month-and-a-half earlier than normal (begins Nov. 5, 2021) before the mid-December (Dec. 21st) equinox and a full month before the start of meteorological winter (Dec. 1st.) |

Earliest frost for years in UK I think? Quite chilly! is that an inland area ? we are still at 7c .. the sea makes the difference N Bucks/Oxfordshire, about as inland as it gets for UK! |

Houston has had cold fronts coming through all summer which is incredibly rare here. If that same pattern holds, we are in for quite the cold winter. Maybe even a repeat of last year. The morning we hit 16 degrees, the bay was frozen from the shore to 30 feet out. |

Last winter held true to my suspicions. This winter will be another test of the observation. |

your going to get really cold get used to it .. as will we all .. i've put on a fat layer and turned up the heating by putting another log on .. i will next burn the next doors trees then there fence .. and what furniture they have .. as i have axe bow and a will to keep warm  |
