It's going to get colder - and faster - during the first week of November Missouriboy. I forecasted winter to a month-and-a-half earlier than normal (begins Nov. 5, 2021) before the mid-December (Dec. 21st) equinox and a full month before the start of meteorological winter (Dec. 1st.)

Earliest frost for years in UK I think? Quite chilly! is that an inland area ? we are still at 7c .. the sea makes the difference N Bucks/Oxfordshire, about as inland as it gets for UK!

Houston has had cold fronts coming through all summer which is incredibly rare here. If that same pattern holds, we are in for quite the cold winter. Maybe even a repeat of last year. The morning we hit 16 degrees, the bay was frozen from the shore to 30 feet out.

Last winter held true to my suspicions. This winter will be another test of the observation.

your going to get really cold get used to it .. as will we all .. i've put on a fat layer and turned up the heating by putting another log on .. i will next burn the next doors trees then there fence .. and what furniture they have .. as i have axe bow and a will to keep warm
