Not sure I like that. Looks like your neck of the woods is about to get a good old fashioned dusting...

Thing is, sibera/Scandinavia are having record cold 🤷♂️ I'm of the opinion what we see atm more than ever is weather. Climate is off the menu until strat water vapour settles down. Right now in Australia, we should be in the grip of drought: Positive (though weakening) IOD in conjunction with an El Nino. Instead, there has been flooding and widespread good rainfall in many parts that should be dry. On this representation, where it says "reduced chance of rain", we've had good to flooding rains. Hunga-Tonga? Not the expected result from an El Nino/+ve IOD; where's my promised drought?

Somebody's been sucking on a brand new strain of Aztec chili-weather peppers. And as we get to each step on weather.com, the actual 2-3 day forecast is looking decidedly non-apocalyptic.

It's probably going to be seasonably cold for a little while in some of these parts

We have have very mild conditions for November and December in SE Nebraska. I knew the bill would come at some point. Not snowing yet as I type this, but we are supposed to get 6-12 inches before tomorrow morning. Then next Sunday forecast high of -2F.

Not much snow. But by Friday we might get 5 to 8 inches and weekend low temps dropping below 0F. And holding low into mid-next week. Still not apocalyptic. Are you in Alabama Sig?

Yes, it is really cold for a high. But is just plain really cold. Right now, 2-3 inches of the wettest snow i have seen in a long time. Temperature is right at freezing.
