CHINA 2021 Floods and Food Production Always wonder where David gets his on-the-ground Chinese imagery. Combiined with cold and flood issues in other global ag regions, shortages should be showing up in futures markets. This issue has not been well-covered in the American press. Better to put away enough food for the family now, before any shortages and the full price impact is felt. The CCP is not going to tell the World the extent of the problem. Perhaps our intelligence agencies know ... but they won't tell us either. One wonders if our government(s) really has our back. We know for sure that most of the press doesn't. Government have our back? Smoking the really good stuff eh? It's the only thing left that's still right.  |

I remember that 2007 ice storm. At 3 am trees were snapping loudly, it sounded like rifle reports.
Tulsa was without power for over a week, and temps were cold the whole time.

Doesn't look like the Palouse Country where I drove pea combines before these critters took to the field. The Palouse is a lot hillier down toward Dayton And Walla Walla (the town they loved so much they named it twice). |

Drove through there a few weeks ago. Those guys are nuts! Had to laugh at the article though. You don't combine "green" wheat. It won't shrivel anymore than it will when dry enough for storage. The reason she is combing is because the wheat is dry enough to harvest and store. |
