Getting to the root of the "gun" problem was the point of this post, was it not? I lay the blame on the 1965 immigration act and then Lyndon Johnsons "Great Society Act" both of which destroyed black family cohesiveness. Black males 15 to 30 are less than 5% of the population but commit 58% of the violent crimes, usually against other blacks. In 1963 only 30% of black children were born to a single parent. Now it is a staggering 92%. White families are now experiencing a similar trend if not from out of wedlock births but from divorce. Teen boys need a father. Single women cannot control teenaged boys. We can also talk about compulsory military service and or restoring state and local militias. Weak families also play right into cultural Marxism.

Crime statistics are also being skewed by the FBI and the states to try and make black crime appear less severe. A look at Texas 10 most wanted shows perfectly what I'm talking about. Latino crime is now white crime.

Mind you, it is probably difficult to find a time when it would not be insensitive for the same reason, given the regularity of such senseless shootings. PS: I am pro gun ownership. |

A well regulated militia, being necessary for the security of a free state sure sounds like they were talking about defense of country, not person.
Certainly depends on what you think they meant by the word "militia". And, I never said that the constitution intended that arms were solely for personal defense.
One definition from the Oxford Languages Dictionary: a military force that engages in rebel or terrorist activities in opposition to a regular army.
In the event that the federal government begins conducting sham elections, our state militias might not choose to support the standing army of the US.
