Born that way.
Being part of the Heinz empire and then going with the Panama tax solution. This man has about as much cred as a full fox in a chicken house.

On a calm, cold winter night it is going to be quite hard to get all those EVs recharged when all the fossil fuel stations have been shut.
That will be when hype and rhetoric greet reality.

Relates to EV's and other 'CO2' matters. Found this hilarious YTube video from Australia: "Honest (not) Government Ad: Carbon Capture & Storage" ...enjoy... We've already done that. CARBON CAPTURE ACRES

So, a problem in EV world, range in cold.
Decimated.
Not a huge problem for me as I don't really need 180 miles of range (now 160, if you understand the car adjusts total range on historical averages...)
During the summer, full charge would be 180 miles. At around 4.3 miles/kW I'd go to work and back (50 miles) and get home with 140 miles left.
Now, after a couple of more chilly weeks and currently below freezing at night, I start with 160 mile range.....and hit 140 halfway to work!!! 2.9 miles/kW.
Not a huge issue for me day to day as I can still get to work and back and maybe a trip to pick up a kid or something (my kid to be clear...) However there is a stark reality here.
EV HATE the cold.

Glad you can show us how it's done. I love my turbocharged gasoline-fired heater.

I thought it was appropriate for Cap to give Prophet Al a shout out on an important anniversery.

Congressman Tom McClintock makes perfect sense - and pulls no punches - on EVs in this short video .... He sounds like a member of our group! Too bad the team he’s speaking to aren’t listening to or capable of comprehending his message.
