Very nice Ratty, you just got that?
I like Subarus. But I had a CVT transmission once and vowed never again. But I do like Subarus.

I like Subarus. But I had a CVT transmission once and vowed never again. But I do like Subarus. This is my fifth Suby and I honestly never notice that it's CVT. You can lock it in 'gear' and swap up and down with the paddles if you want to play.

I had one fail at 30k miles and they aren't cheap. I guess Subarus are bettter. lemonlawexperts.com/2022-nissan-cvt-transmission-settlement-update/

My daughter went and got a Subaru XV with CVT she loves it, I just hate it, her strength I concluded is not mechanical. The CVT just violates you mechanically, regarding euro cars, masochism is the best description sensational technology, but, going to moon will never be an option, every trip would Apollo 13.
The British however occupy the land of unreliable. Jaguar never shook of the British Leland background Range Rovers owners always held on to their trade in to allow a 6 month teething period to be endured.
Note in films you see a lot of Arabic films with fleets of Range Rover and mostly for just one or two people says it all, then they blow them up they are returned lemons searching for an afterlife.

Even if it gets a lot better, which I think won't happen, it's still not good enough.
