Well, bust my buttons.... La Niña could enter rare third straight year. Here’s what that means. Its presence could boost spring tornadoes and portends yet another bad Atlantic hurricane season By Matthew Cappucci

Yes, and see how strong this La Nina has been.

NEVER TRUST THE WASHINGTON POST. They "LIVE" in darkness. We been gaslighted. This is really not so difficult. Even a Post reporter could do it.
Global temperature implications
The presence of La Niña and cooler-than-normal ocean waters in the tropical Pacific have helped somewhat lower the average global temperature over the last year or two. 2021 tied as the Earth’s sixth-hottest year on record. If it weren’t for La Niña, the year’s warmth almost certainly would’ve ranked higher.
The first three months of 2022 ranked fifth warmest on record, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. It says 2022 has just a 4.2 percent chance to rank as the warmest year, which is largely due to the La Niña influence. Once El Niño returns, the chances of a record-breaking warm year will increase.
From Dr Roy's UAH lower troposphere global temperature anomalies. Months ranked high to low (column 4). 2022 and 2021 highlighted.

So, indirectly, they admit that solar radiation heats the ocean, and water vapor is the primary vehicle for atmospheric warming and cooling. How far are they from admitting that the oceans heat and cool with the intensity of solar cycles, and that the atmosphere warms and cools as a lagged response, as water vapor transfers oceanic heat to the atmosphere. AND, depending on time and place, atmospheric water vapor is 50 to 100 times larger than CO2. THE TRUTH (for now) will set them free. It might also get them crucified.

Cool and wet in Middle Earth. April 1.6F below normal. For now, May is continuing the trend. Rained all night. My wheel barrel has a loose average of 2 to 3 inches in it. The Cardinals are out in force, feeding on the refugees from my small, saturated flood plain. The old Missouri farmer saying that you're only a week away from a drought has been extended to two weeks.
