Hello everyone, I have been lurking the Solar Cycle 24 board for years now. I found that sight when I was researching global warming because the school my youngest attended at the time decided it was ok to teach The Inconvenient Truth. I believe in teaching both sides of a coin, so my research began. Needless to say I ended up at a school board meeting wanting to know why such lies were being taught. The school board had no idea and it was stopped immediately. So when I saw a new board was made I figured it was time to say hello. I live in Fort Smith AR and I really enjoy learning here.

Hello Aggiejean. Missouri welcomes another cousin from the south. More should attend their local school board meetings. Healthy skepticism requires no advanced degrees. Just common sense will often do. |

Hello all from zaphod. I joined the cycle24 board years ago, and did not post much even then as I did not and do not have the expertise of most of you. I've been motivated to have a read again and join the new board because of the hysteria following the latest IPCC announcements that "GW" is "unequivocally A".
I noticed the comment about Kevin's interest in the board. I am one of the radio hams on the site, but have to say that I do not use the Solarcycle24 main solar data page so much since Kevin seems to have possibly automated it, changed it and stopped adding personal commentary and observations in the way that he did. The data is all available elsewhere and it is not a page I keep open in my Propagation webpages any more. So I checked Proboards less often.
I am unlikely to post very much but I appreciate what you all have to say and I believe thr forum to be very valuable.
