69% of month end sea ice extent have been above the 2010's average  Sea ice extent for 6th. July is 181K sq.km. ABOVE the 2010's average (red v yellow below) Been away on vacation. I will keep the image below updated through to July month end

As a result, one of the best ways to estimate sea ice volume is through the usage of numerical models which utilizes all available observations. One such computer model comes from the University of Washington and is called the Pan-Arctic Ice Ocean Modeling and Assimilation System (PIOMAS, Zhang and Rothrock, 2003). This model-derived Arctic sea ice volume shows a steady downward trend from the middle 1990s to the low point that was reached in 2012. Since then, Arctic sea ice volume has been showing resiliency with a general sideways trend during the past several years.

Even a blind Mann can see that one. It’s so ridiculous, I feel like screaming sometimes. The absolute manipulation of society by people that know exactly what they’re doing is maddening. Anyone educated in any scientific discipline must realize the incredibly long time constants associated with our planet and how short our data sets are. They also know that sheep don’t know. |
