Like his father (the real one) I doubt that comrade Justin really cares about how many people starve around the World ... much less Canadian farmers.
If he feels slighted by my assessment, he can feel free to contact me at this web site, and we can have a Frank little discussion regarding the matter.

The price of food is the US's friend just like oil and gas its about who gets the money not in which country it is.
Europe is stupid and are running a royal flush of failure lets hope the conclusions drawn are good and lead to a solution I suspect for a positive solution they need 2 million dead bodies such is the level of stupidity.
Here in the hermit kingdom NZ remarkably akin to Water Ship Downs we are positively advantaged by food prices as we assiduously and determinedly attempt to reduce food production, but energy is a little different we have 85% renewable electric generation due to abundant hydro and geothermal but gas and oil is loathed we work behind the scenes trying to extract it.
Prices are good!!! praise the new gods.

Everything we use is either farmed or mined.

We have gotten all together too comfortable with a Mickey Mouse version of science. Time to demand scientific proof of "the science" and neuter them before they do something truely stupid. Or part of the plan.

Made a drive to Kirksville (north-central Missouri) yesterday. Fields looked green, but mighty short.

Went to MSP for Aunts 90th BD party. Crops generally look good.
The risk point will be how long frost stays away.

Made a drive to Kirksville (north-central Missouri) yesterday. Fields looked green, but mighty short. Grass is dying in east central OK. The feed stores are hoping to benefit soon. Think a situation might be developing.
Hot and pretty dry this summer unfortunately. Haven't seen this in a fairly long time.

The last one I remember here in Middle Earth was in late 2011 - early 2012 on the upslope of solar cycle 24 ... also an early-ending La Nina year. We have been hot and relatively dry but its been broken up by periodic cold fronts. They don't seem to be penetrating into your parts. You're part of the Texas quan dry.

Yes I'm thinking Lake of the Ozarks might be a better option than our nearby lakes here, will be getting too hot to float in a boat now.

I just checked your area forecast. I am so jealous. We are trapped down here for the foreseeable future.

My latest science experiment is coming to fruition. I have a large hard winter squash that I purchased last summer that has been sitting at the back of an open kitchen counter (no direct light) since. So one year. Today it is being prepared for soup. No rot, no mold, no insects ... just solid yellow flesh. Smells good. Ratty, please see to the obit if you don't hear from me.
