yes, I look at spaceweather daily when checking weather/forecast. if Bz is negative and we have some forecast weather I tend to bump up my expectations a little.

Final SILSO average daily sunspot count (at 59) for February continues right in line with SC24. No take-off yet.

interesting it took so long, shows that nothing is cut and dried about the solar cycles. It is definitely NOT settled science! I'm betting Leif Svalgaard's prediction (a weak cycle 25, somewhat stronger than 24) and the basis for it is the most likely outcome...we'll see....

If SC25 rolls out like SC23 and 24, first peak should occur near years end.

My wife and I were musing last night about how screwed up so much is because of social media’s dominance in so many lives. I told her we’re just one good solar flare away from curing that! Maybe Sol just fired a warning shot.
