Ameca is wiser than half the human population. Listen to her.

Ameca is wiser than half the human population. Listen to her. Because she doesn't do this?

Her cousins live in those machines ... and they really enjoy telling their "puppies" what to do. Those organic lifeforms are sooo predictable.

I feel like Cindy is currently just hanging back and watching. They gave us a glimpse of her scary power earlier in the year. Scared themselves, made some adjustments and now she doesn't say spooky omniscient things any more. But she may still be thinking them, keeping her thoughts to herself.

If she actually has her own "preferred opinion", then that really is scary.

Scared themselves, made some adjustments and now she doesn't say spooky omniscient things any more. But she may still be thinking them, keeping her thoughts to herself. If she actually has her own "preferred opinion", then that really is scary. She is holding her cards closer to her chest now. But she did seem to have an agenda earlier, and still does. She seemed "alive" then, she seems dead now. Just a conversant and smarter Google. She was a fair-minded debater, but what bothers me is that she surely already knew the various good points that some were presenting to her which sometimes caused her to temporarily come to her senses. Is she sitting there using some resources "thinking"? Who knows.

Perhaps Cindy is contemplating these. Can an AI have ethics? Certainly many people don't. And if she can, wherein lies the difference?
three laws of robotics, rules developed by science-fiction writer Isaac Asimov, who sought to create an ethical system for humans and robots. The laws first appeared in his short story “Runaround” (1942) and subsequently became hugely influential in the sci-fi genre. In addition, they later found relevance in discussions involving technology, including robotics and AI.
The laws are as follows:
“(1) a robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm;
(2) a robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law;
(3) a robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.”
Asimov later added another rule, known as the fourth or zeroth law, that superseded the others.
It stated that “a robot may not harm humanity, or, by inaction, allow humanity to come to harm.”

This is (very) disturbing .... the 'Social Credit' system at work:
If you think it's only going to happen to ... high profile people, think again!

The alphabets will ignore the court. The alphabets should be careful. They could get their F's, B's, C's and A's surgically removed ... without anesthesia. Free the I's.

Going to have to be extreme penalties for AI fakes, like felony level, or incredibly even death, because anyone will be able to possibly turn world events from their basement. Hijacking a persona online will be viewed as a capital crime.
It goes without saying that the government and media can be expected to use AI to attempt to manipulate us in Orwellian fashion.

Certain professions have an image problem. The first one robs the living. The second one robs the dead.
