Douglas, "Orderly and Humane; The Expulsion of the Germans after the Second World War" for great detail on the ethnic cleansing carried out by the Allies in the aftermath of the war. I'm Polish, have ancestors who were "DPs", and have no love for the Germans and what they did under Hitler. That said, this topic has been largely ignored by historians, and you will find few people today who have even a tiny bit of knowledge about this atrocity against ethnic Germans. |
