I don't think that there will be near enough minerals mining on the North American continent, because the nature of metals mining, milling and refining is a nasty environmental nightmare. In the case of the Jervois Cobalt mine, the cost of production is too high and the price of cobalt too low. Other mines are simply not being permitted by various government authorities. Nobody will want these projects in their own backyards.
