Is it time again? It's been rumbling for some time. Maybe Al Gore could put in some prayer time.
The INGV says that on average more than 3,000 tons of CO2 are being released each day from the volcanic field. A typical U.S. passenger vehicle emits about 4.6 metric tons of CO2 a year.

Eruptions seem to be increasing.
Lots of floods these last couple of months.

Global cooling caused by warming...weird www.nature.com/articles/s41561-023-01331-ywww.cnn.com/2023/12/12/world/himalayan-glaciers-cooling-air-climate-scn/index.htmlWhen warming temperatures hit certain high-altitude ice masses, it sets off a surprising reaction that blows robust cold winds down the slopes, according to the study published December 4 in the journal Nature Geoscience. The warming climate creates a greater temperature gap between the surrounding air above Himalayan glaciers and the cooler air directly in contact with the ice masses’ surface, explained Francesca Pellicciotti, professor of glaciology at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria and lead author of the study.

Well Katabatic winds are greatest in South America Patagonia they have been around for as long as people can record such things.
Most summer afternoons on the Med around the high country in Turkey have characteristic reversal from soft warm onshore winds that allow you to set an anchor from deep to shallow only to discover around the middle of the night that a cool 20Knts of breeze slides down the valleys which have been cooled by out going LWR into the cold of the Universe.
I have extreme doubts that this driven to extremes by CC

Learned a new word today: Katabatic Winds I live at the base of an escarpment. This type of air movement is very common.

This is seemingly a newly compiled video on the Hunga-Tonga eruption.

Its a compilation clips interestingly a portion of it is a rendition generated by the NIWA group in NZ and is of the street I live in out to a possible eruption in the bay out from us 2Km.
Its a BS clip. The Tonga eruption was different because of water ejection into stratosphere, the result of which is not really understood.

Nobody has adequately answered the issue of geothermal heat inputs to the oceans. What the hell is this. Looks very different than your normal gravity wave or wind generated heat movement. Coming in from a depth of over 400 meters in the E. Pacific (the East Pacific Rise?).

It is an anomaly so can be driven by water coming up or across differently to normal.
Not say its not geothermal energy but sometimes the obvious is actually the is razer principle (wrong spelling but so.)
Have a good Xmas we have just finished ours so enjoy.
