Tonight I wrote an AI machine learning algo trading robot in Python, using Python libraries, which is actually working now, it is making predictions and trying to place trades. It is not integrated into the IB account yet. Of course I am hopeful that it performs well and makes money. There will be some tinkering. Unlike climate scientists, we want our AI to avoid curve-fitting. ----------------- initialize(context) handle_data(context) [*********************100%%**********************] 1 of 1 completed Predicting price increase. Placing buy order. Never used Python. How do you call the Python libraries? What platform does it run on? Any chance of getting a look at the code for curiosity's sake?

Problem is that more than one of you will be doing this and likely many so there goes the arbitrage.
Be interested to see how it goes.

Yes, these systems will probably sold as turnkey machines in the near future. The success is determined by the secret sauce, which I think that we have.

I'm working on windows, but I'm going to migrate it to Linux I think and run it on an AWS cloud server. Here's some of it: ----------------------------------- (it's kind of a secret. It's way bigger and more complex now. if you want a copy to run I'll email to you.)

My mates in construction are getting laid off/running out of work, contractors have cv's piling up on desks.
Bad sign for UK economy.
Don't worry about me...I'm lucky, 18 months certain work with an option on the horizon.
I am feeling really fortunate tho!

I have likewise been lucky so far, final accounting shows that the year has been better than I have been complaining about. But it feels slow, and could have been much better. Most others in the industry are in big trouble or already shut down. Our buyers have no cash. and no credit any longer.

I agree work is usually there but it might not be fun work sometimes. If you get tired of that come over here and drive a machine. But its about to get cold..
