I believe that for "Meta", that downturn is a real possibility. Not a big fan really He doesn't look very much like Moses does he? No golden tablets will be forthcoming.

FB and some of the other SM sites have received massive financial and general support from the Corp left and also the TDS. Clearly Trump will not need to return as the left in the US has somewhat declined. From what we can understand about Twitter little about the company involved commercial trade I would suggest this sector "Tech" will experience their own little private depression. That is if the world is rational. Much as I would like the two bolded statements to be true, I've seen no recent evidence. The latter is admittedly conjectural, but would you explain your thoughts on the former?

Now that "the Left" is in charge, it is becoming increasingly difficult to mask their failures / incompetence on other people and issues. Although they are trying mighty hard. Seems that a portion of the general public that were drawn to "their words" and generalized stated policies are feeling seriously let down by their actions and results. Cults are like that.

I would add the polls.
And the other killer for the left is that whatever view you hold on the distribution narrative etc. the constraints that the left puts on markets reduces wealth. People initially applaud the object, the results are disappointing and also apparent.

Yes, but the critical question is whether the portion that are feeling let down have any major overlap with the portion who were willing to commit election fraud on a grand scale. If not, then there's no reason to expect this coming election will change anything.

My grim prediction is that a few Ugandan “elites” will enrich themselves while the nation continues to flounder. I hope I’m wrong.

I actually hope that she is right. But this administration just keeps derailing the economy in foolish ways. Seemingly intentional supply chain issues, inflationary stimulus money printing, restrictive energy policies, nobody wants to show up and put in a normal days work and handle business professionally.

So, too early for me to post this?
