I bought a couple 1,000 rounds a bit ago. Normal course of events, I need to buy more.

Bang-up job Glenn. Nice case. A 1000-rnd box of 9mm is an awkward thing to carry around. Israeli's are funneling their product into US at a very reasonable price ($0.50 per rnd) if you catch it on sale. MidwayUSA is reputable supplier just down the road about 5 miles. Mid-MO's ammo bunker. www.midwayusa.com/product/2090655809/ - 9mm combo small arm and carbine make multiple rnd types unneccessary. Meanwhile money pours into the market. If you try to call a top you'll be killed. I got out a few months ago when the market was around 34,000. I've lost a little in gains but I sleep better. I'm investing in a new type of redneck currency. With the 900 point drop the other day I may be doing better than the market is!

It's probably a good bet, I have a bunch too. I don't know how liquid it is, hard to sell online and I don't want to rent a booth at a gun show.
A month or two ago my son bought several boxes of some different Russian ammo when he read that it was being banned here for import. I don't remember the two calibers. He's a good trader.

When I picked up my first Mosin Nagant (a semi-pristine 1939 model $39) a decade+ ago, I stocked up on a few cases of 7.62 54R ammo (equally cheap). Back when another ex-soviet officer was selling out another bunker. It's dirty but dependable.

Leningrad? Berlin? Considered one of the most durable and dependable infantry rifles of WWII

I call her Mariska.

Tula is the famous factory. You are fortunate to have one with a nice bore. Makes me think mostly not in action obviously. You are better off really to have a nice rifle than one which had lots of corrosive primer rusting up the bore. The history will always just be a guess anyway.

Technical indicators look bullish still for the moment to me, but could change anytime.
This next bear/crash could possibly be absolutely epic (when it finally happens).
