It is astounding to see the things that the fed government is doing. It is past time to have an Article V convention of states. It would be interesting, but could also be dangerous. There is also currently the following going around. If enacted, prepare for the large, populous states to control the Presidency forever. This was a primary issue at the original constitutional convention, as the smaller states were reasonably concerned about just this issue. This is civil war material. National Popular Vote Interstate CompactFrom Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Agreement Among the States to Elect the President by National Popular Vote at Wikisource The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC) is an agreement among a group of U.S. states and the District of Columbia to award all their electoral votes to whichever presidential candidate wins the overall popular vote in the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The compact is designed to ensure that the candidate who receives the most votes nationwide is elected president, and it would come into effect only when it would guarantee that outcome.[2][3] As of June 2021, it has been adopted by fifteen states and the District of Columbia. These states have 195 electoral votes, which is 36% of the Electoral College and 72% of the 270 votes needed to give the compact legal force. Certain legal questions may affect implementation of the compact. Some legal observers believe states have plenary power to appoint electors as prescribed by the compact; others believe that the compact will require congressional consent under the Constitution's Compact Clause or that the presidential election process cannot be altered except by a constitutional amendment.

Well, so much for working for a large company. Ever again. thefederalist.com/2021/09/09/in-fascist-move-biden-administration-to-force-vaccine-mandates-on-private-companies/"The Biden administration will force private-sector employers to mandate all of their employees either get the COVID-19 shot or produce a negative test weekly. The new rule, developed by the Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), applies to all businesses with 100 employees or more. Businesses that do not comply with the new federal requirements could face “substantial fines up to nearly $14,000 per violation.”"

www.kiro7.com/news/trending/ny-hospital-pause-baby-deliveries-after-staffers-quit-over-vaccine-mandate/NNMBMQ6VTFFT5DDAMXV46DQ5TQ/"LOWVILLE, N.Y. — An upstate New York hospital said it will pause the delivery of babies in two weeks because of a spate of resignations by maternity unit workers who are objecting to COVID-19 vaccination mandates. Lewis County General Hospital, in Lowville, will temporarily stop delivering babies after Sept. 24, WWNY reported. During a news conference Friday afternoon, Lewis County Health System CEO Gerald Cayer said seven of the 30 hospital workers who resigned were from the hospital’s maternity ward. He added that another seven maternity unit staffers were undecided about getting the vaccine, the television station reported."

Seems that a lot of people have come to like being unemployed. Stop the government sugardaddy handouts and the underlying metrics may change. But SSI is still going to take a long-term hit. The gov has piled many addons to the program that were never envisioned.

Participation rate has fallen, more public servants, and the productivity has fallen as a consequence of social distancing working from home, all point to falling incomes.
Are we pleased!

COVID-19 didn't cause many lost jobs.
The RESPONSE to COVID-19 caused a huge number of lost jobs. And in the long run has probably killed the economy entirely.
