Welcome "blueridgefarms"! Glad you're here. I'll try to not be too obnoxious. I know I have different views than some of you, but I really do like to discuss things that we may disagree on and not hang out in an echo chamber. You can tell me I'm wrong on a specific topic, and I won't take it to mean anything about me personally or about other topics. Hopefully that works here. It works very well here.

As a superstorm, perhaps you can provide us with some useful climate/weather explanations that have nothing to do with Russian super heroes.

I feel slighted. Change the "sl" to "s" and you're OK.

Hello all
I thought I'd register after some time lurking and reading.
I have an interest in solar physics, because it's fascinating and also because I have held an amateur radio licence for 45 years. I am also very keen on people who don't believe in climate fairies and realise that a grand solar minimum is on the way. I have some warmer clothing ready for the next few decades.
I am a fan of Dr Leif Svaalgard although I have seen little directly from him in recent years, I used to see his posts on another forum some years ago but perhaps it disappeared, I don't now recall which one it was.
In any case I have thoroughly enjoyed the SC25 forum so far.
I'm located pretty much on the Greenwich Meridian.

Now you will need to explain "tyrbiter" ....

Ah, right. Well I quite like Norse mythology. I always had a fascination with Fenrir, whose teeth warriors walk up to Valhalla on the day of Ragnarok. Tyr is the god who has his right hand bitten off by Fenrir after he is tricked by the other gods to be bound by the chain Gleipnir (which means open, but could not be opened). Hence Tyrbiter.
To come round in a sort of circle, Leif Svaalgard is a very Norse name.
