Happy Independence Day!
Enjoy it while you can.
It is our job to ensure that we and others can. Great (multi-x) uncle William didn't face down regulars at Saratoga just to have others give it away to Karens and Kyles, whose collective intellectual abilities would make a watermelon look like a Rhodes scholar.

It is rare to hear a public figure admit they don't know something (even when it is outside their area of expertise). It is even rarer to hear a public figure admit they were wrong. mikerowe.com/2021/08/off-the-wall-im-not-inclined-to-dispense-medical-advice/But he's got one thing absolutely right: we've GOT to keep asking questions until the answers make sense. "The fact is, millions of reasonable Americans have every right to feel confused and skeptical. Those people you refer to, Steve – the ones now telling us that we can “get back to normal just as soon as everyone is vaccinated” – those are the same people who said, “two weeks to flatten the curve!” Those are the same people who told us that masks were “useless” before they told us they were “critical.” Those are the same people who told us that a return to normalcy would occur just as soon as “the most vulnerable” among us were vaccinated. Then, just as soon as “half the population” was vaccinated. Then, just as soon as we achieved “herd immunity.” Those are the same people who told us they wouldn’t trust ANY vaccine developed under the last administration. Now, those very same people are belittling the skeptics! If this were a Peanuts cartoon, those people would be Lucy, pulling away the football at the last moment while a nation full of Charlie Browns land flat on their collective back, over and over and over again. Those people you refer to – elected officials, journalists, and most disturbingly, more than a few medical experts – have moved the goalposts time and time again, while ignoring the same rules and restrictions they demand we all live by. They’re always certain, usually wrong, incapable of shame, and utterly void of humility. Is it any wonder millions find them unpersuasive?"

The article cited does ask the critical question: "Why did distancing measures stop influenza and RSV, while COVID-19 continued to spread?"
Of course, a more accurate question (as birder implies) might have been: "DID distancing measures stop influenza, or were flu cases and deaths simply recorded as COVID-19?"
The article, again accurately, notes that we were having a bad flu season in early 2020... which suddenly fizzled, often just as the disease theater was starting up (in fact, it fizzled before everyone had a mask - amazing, right?).
And then we get to the really damning piece of evidence: "At Yale-New Haven Hospital, where Foxman works, there were around 3,000 confirmed flu cases in the first three months of 2020, Foxman tells The Scientist. “This year, from the first of January until now [the article was written in July], there’s zero.” "
Zero. Not just a few cases, *zero*. Down from 3,000. Just three cases would have been a 99.9% reduction, which would have been quite impressive but would have shown there were still flu strains out there. But, per the data, they're gone.
Either we've *completely* killed the seasonal flu... or it is out there, but being reported as something else.

Some people are trying: www.lifesitenews.com/conference-stop-the-shot/"Breaking information will be shard by the lead attorney in U.S. suit against the Biden regime's HHS regarding VAERS, adverse events, under-reporting deaths, and injuries. This presentation will also include an update on the CDC Whistleblower affidavit, which indicates more than 45,000 actual deaths have taken place following the COVID shot, verses the VAERS reports of only 11,000. Previously undisclosed data from both Pharma-clinical trials and subsequent additional studies on the COVID jab related to specific, serious, immediate, and long-term impacts on fertility in both men and women. Updates on international medical studies regarding actual vaccine immunity verses what has been reported to the public by the media." Suspect most of this information has already turned up here, but it is nice to see some people trying to get it out in an organized fashion.
