Minor damage Mr. Acid. My house is 45 miles east of NOLA, so we were spared the brunt. I have a Tempest digital weather station that is still reporting, which means I have power at my house. The station recorded a top wind gust of 52mph last night. That's not a problem for coastal houses built to Katrina inspired building codes. We also got 7 inches of rain, and a storm surge of only 6 feet above high tide. That surge wouldn't even go under my house, and I'm 100 yards from the shore. A neighbor who stayed said the outside looks good except all the screens ripped out of the screen porch. I can live with that!
