Elsa is passing by me right now. Raining…. The media is treating it like a major event…shocking. We get nor’easters that make this look pretty tame. It’s moving through at ~35mph!

Geez, I remember listening to our Governor some years back speaking in Seattle hard selling SUPER STORM SANDY like it was "the" apocalyptic hurricane of the century.

Geez, I remember listening to our Governor some years back speaking in Seattle hard selling SUPER STORM SANDY like it was "the" apocalyptic hurricane of the century. Sandy was a true disaster for a lot of folks in the NE, particularly near the coast. It was an average hurricane that merged with a Nor’easter at high tide. It’s still commemorated on it’s anniversary here each year. I was tempted to drive there and walk by her camera in shorts and T shirt. |

Now the models have it pretty close to Southampton. That’s about 40 miles from me. I predict a lot of wealthy liberals with a sudden lack of electricity.

Well Henri completely missed LI. The media is still going crazy but I think they’re very disappointed. I just watched a “reporter” standing in front of an emergency shelter in the rain explaining how folks can go there🙄
