I hate to pre-judge things ya know. And yes, they called Columbus and Wegener and many others crazy. But would I be presumptive to conclude that these people and their thesis REALLY are bat-sh_t crazy? Abstract Heavy rainfall drives a range of eruptive and noneruptive volcanic hazards; over the Holocene, the incidence of many such hazards has increased due to rapid climate change.

Nice. Geotectonic uplift in a volcanic area. Magma intrusion at depth? And what other future events? They should worry about rain I guess. 🤓
