Two PM here in Middle Earth on July 26th and my deck thermometer reads 63F. That would tie our two lowest maximums in the time series going back to 1888. Low monthly maximum temperatures of 63 F for July were set in 1905 and 1951. Wow we have not seen a 63F low since April or early May. Have not seen a 63F high since probably early March. Nice!

Just reminds how easy it often is to wrongly interpret local conditions as some meaningful current worldwide trend.

Do you have plenty of wood? How many Democrats will be left in the wormy apple after a cold, dark winter with limited heat?

Could be a deep hole in many pocket books. Europe nat. gas prices almost 7x US prices. But Biden isn't done yet.

The chickens produced by Europe's green stupidity are coming home to roost.

The chickens produced by Europe's green stupidity are coming home to roost. How are those green Aussie chickens holding up? We roast ours with potatoes.

I thought that everyone "took a knee" to the green chicken(s). Which IS the problem. They need not validate their views in the standard scientific manner. They merely state it as truth and march on. I reckon there is a reckoning coming.

You may not get what you deserve ... but you do get what you allow to happen. Greenies may be digging deeper hidey holes.
While we can blame Russia for the current gas supply problems, the real cause of this looming disaster has been the government enforced shutdown of most of our coal generating capacity during the last decade:

You have to give credit to the Russians. They are playing Chess and the European's are playing tic tac toe. This video by gas giant Gazprom clearly is rubbing salt in the wounds of the Euro's. It's one thing to cut the lights out in Europe, another thing to make a video of them cutting off the lights!
