And nobody goes back to the actual question. Can Charles Oscar REALLY do that? It has never been tested. IT JUST IS.

So what a load of rubbish.
But here is a suggestion if the absorption due to being a dark colour is able to heat the planet forget the electricity and put mirrors out there and reduce the albedo sufficient to generate global cooling or fill the region with water and cool it as discussed in the article.

Of what stuff is the Continent made? Fourth Turning stuff?

Putin just tightened the valve a little more and cut natural gas flowing to Europe again. If you live there and are reading this I would highly suggest you prepare some type of alternative fuel source to heat your home this winter. If you can afford it I would check into the pellet heaters and have the smallest generator available that can power it. If you have a fireplace I would acquire as much firewood as you possibly can and buy or build some type of heat exchanger for the fireplace to maximize efficiency. Do whatever you can now to prepare for this, I would not rely on natural gas or electricity. In February of 2021 most of Texas lost power for four days when the grid crashed due to an arctic cold front. I learned the hard way how tough it can be to live without electricity or heat. Fortunately I have a fireplace and was able to source used pallets for firewood and was able to keep my house above freezing. Many of my neighbors were not as fortunate and spent those long days huddling up in a dark room with blankets. At a minimum it was miserable and for some life threatening. At this point I do not see how most of Europe is going to keep the lights on this winter. I certainly would not believe anything an elected/appointed official has to say about it and would take steps to insure my family has heat this winter. You can live without electricity but you need a source of heat. Do not put the safety of your loved ones in Putin's hands. www.theguardian.com/world/2022/jul/25/russias-gazprom-to-make-drastic-cut-to-europes-gas-supply-from-wednesday

It hit some very low overnight temps so I can tell you that we were miserable during that time. Never again, have to be prepared.
I was outside at about 3 am listening to the big tree limbs snapping off. It sounded like high powered rifles, all around.
I think Texas might have got some of that storm too.

The Western Canadians have pinched the Alaskan bumper sticker. The Big Apple and all other Woke US metros deserve the same treatment. Repent publicly ... and loudly.

Two PM here in Middle Earth on July 26th and my deck thermometer reads 63F. That would tie our two lowest maximums in the time series going back to 1888. Low monthly maximum temperatures of 63 F for July were set in 1905 and 1951.
