If the numbers are good, and transport/distribution doesn't foul the works, cereal production and utilization for 2023 appear to be in balance ... although the margin appears tight. Most of us may not starve this year.

Entering 2024, world supply/demand ratio is very high. Price discovery is indicating a reduction in production is required. Grain bins are overflowing

So far half of March's days have been 15F to 25F above normal here in Middle Earth. Every plant (vegetable to tree) believes it is Spring. One apple blossom is about to flower. The green onions are growing by inches a day. The bees are out working my flowering ground cover. And we have had 2-3 inches of rain. Sure hope there isn't a massacre. Very much like 2012 spring. That one turned very dry by summer.
