He’s trolling. DJT isn’t going to be the speaker of the house. Jim Jordan might though. I'm not impressed with Jim, I heard him speaking...
How long has Russia been in Ukraine and Jim is asking? Come on Jim, you should know, so I called his office today and told him he should know, it is his job to know. A total fail on his part, and he makes all Republican's look bad. I don't see him as Speaker, I want someone who has over these many months figured it out and made up his mind and knows what the goal is.
Jeez, junior varsity time

There was a third house vote for Speaker today. Jim Jordan once again fell short. Keep in mind McCarthy took 15 rounds. However, Jim Jordan received less votes than the first 2 rounds.
Analyzing the Speaker of The House race, there are moderate Republicans who are refusing to vote for Jim Jordan. There were reports after the second failed vote, there would be a move to expand McHenry's speaker powers and make him a temporary speaker. My guess, is there are far right Republicans who will not agree to this.
Another option is to make a deal with Dems to get them to go along with McHenry. However, this would involve concessions to Dems.
A third option is to elect the New Speaker of The House on plurality and not majority. However, Hakeem Jefferies (minority Dem leader) has been consistently getting all 212 dem members to vote for him. If such a vote were held and the same moderate Republicans refused to vote for Jim Jordan, Democrat Hakeem Jefferies would become Speaker of The House. I think it is unlikely moderate Republicans would abstein or vote for a different candidate, if it meant a Dem would be speaker. However, I have been mistaken before.
All of this against the backdrop of global conflict and the next potential government shutdown on November 17th.

Jim Jordan lost the secret ballot vote 112 - 86. He is no longer the nominee for Speaker of The House. The fact he received closed to 200 votes on the congressional floor shows a sense of urgency to elect a Speaker.
Kevin Hern announced he is running for speaker. He is not in The Freedom Caucus, nor is he a RHINO.
I would not be surprised if he is elected on Monday.
