Victoria is drowning at the moment.
Most of central and Northern Victoria is under water at the moment. This includes nearly all the Murray towns and places like Shepperton in cental Victoria.
Another 100mm [or so] forecast over the next three days.
Agricultural wipeout.

I'm not going post THAT arkstorm video anywhere for fear that one of our local climate alarmists should spot it and run with it. A lot of the Eastern side of the continent can relate at the moment.

Understood. They never get the little details ... like the difference between having an atmospheric river drown you ... and having the Pacific warm pool squat on your face.

Has anyone else noticed the persistent 'hot spot' that has been showing for several days on Tropical Tidbits?

If your searching for a volcanic origin I would say MB is closer to it. The forces associated with buoyant fresh water and buoyant hot water plus the inverted thermal system around the eastern Pacific. Mixing, crossing and driven by wind.
