This nation desperately needs a resolute Constitutionalist with judgment and balls that cannot be bought. It requires a confident clear thinking Alpha male with a healthy ego but not a narcissist. I don’t see that combination of attributes in the field. An extremely rare combination of traits in this time. The US is in a perilous moment in its history and will require a Cincinnatus character to save the precious gift the founders gave us all. ☹️ I agree, an alpha with a brain. I like our local governor, however his name is certainly not being bantered. But he does not flinch when challenged by the local established interests. I wish he would appear on the radar screen.

We are in Banana Republic territory. Join the club! I don't want to have joined that club. I don't care for President Trump. Policies were very good with a few exceptions. As a man exhibiting restraint he sucks. The stupid idea that a few UNARMED citizens could topple the US government is beyond the pale. The prosecution of a political rival now is acceptable for too many folks. That WILL bring down the country.

That WILL bring down the country. They should read their history on our very own civil war. It's not the loons in the fringes. Like John Brown. It's the general level of disgust between regions and micro-regions. This time there is an urban/non-urban divide. Not just Anglo-Saxon and Celtish strains.

I just watched this speech by Vivek Ramaswamy. While a long shot to win the nomination in the Republican primaries, if he wins it, he will have my vote.
His foreign policy is to bring Russia closer and in alliance with the United States. He is also brutally honest on several issues, I have never heard a politician be honest about. He is against climate change religion and says climate change policies, hurt more people than climate change (different speech).
It's incredibly refreshing having a young and articulate candidate who gets straight to the point, and states actual solutions.
I did not watch the debate. However, I just watched some highlights. He roasted several other candidates.

I would say he is scared that VivekGRamaswamy will steal his thunder.
Man that is a candidate that would explode the game.

I'll have to take a look a Vivek. It's looking a bit like 1860 out there from a certain perspective. Appalachia knows that of which this speaks. And so does the Midwest I think. Why did this rocket to the stratosphere? It's not because it's the best song ever written. But it captured a cultural disgust and anger that is bubbling just below the surface awaiting a release. Beware you fake "gentlemen" of power. There is an angry Celtic Moon rising. The meteor of the revolt? The so-called middle class is beginning to understand that their "lifestyle" that expanded from at least the time of their parents is dying ... because? ... the aggregate top 10%(or?) has managed to corral the majority of the productive resources ... and leave the so-called middle class with only those that are anchored by debt. Often large amounts of debt. Rich Men North of Richmond are the newest Lords of the Manor ... Of course they include politicians ... and the worthless hangers-on whose teeth are anchored on the public teat. Maybe this time, "A Hard Rain" really is gonna fall.

This is an issue too. John Kennedy continues to resonate.
