Won't work. Someone will always have a better looking flap of flesh on their nose.

Make no mistake about it. There are only two candidates running for President.
One is a narcissistic, crass loudmouth yankee with poor social skills. The other is an elderly, cognitively challenged, swamp denizen beholden to special interests from a lifetime in Washington.
Our future does not look bright.

notthebee.com/article/time-to-admit-ron-desantis-is-the-frontrunner"If you really want to know who is currently leading the field, ignore the polls and pay attention to the candidates themselves. Who are they firing on, taking shots at, desperately seeking to generate a response from? Viewed through that lens, there's no question that Ron DeSantis is perceived – by the candidates – as the frontrunner." "What DeSantis has accomplished in Florida is no secret. His leadership has turned a purple state – one that voted for both terms of the far-left presidency of Barack Obama – to bright red. The state now boasts a near half-million voter registration edge for Republicans, has voted the Democrats out of every statewide office, delivered a Republican supermajority in the legislature, and just produced one of the most astoundingly substantial and successful legislative sessions in the country's history." "For his part, I think it's worth noting that DeSantis is, for the most part, withholding direct fire on any of his fellow Republicans, including former President Trump. Instead, he is trying to focus on showing up progressivism and its modern prophets:" "Ron DeSantis said in response to JB Pritzker: "I'm a little disappointed your governor said I wasn't welcome in Illinois. Because I seem to remember when he was locking down this state, he sent his family to live in my state and live in our freedom."" He sure isn't perfect, but he's miles ahead of anyone I've heard of who's officially running. He might even be smart enough to focus a large part of his campaign on getting election monitors in swing states to ensure he actually has a chance to get credit for the votes he gets.

While I like DeSantis he is a fool if he runs against Trump in the primary. If he were smart he would wait four years and the crown would be handed to him on a silver platter. Unfortunately both parties are controlled by a vocal minority of extremists in the primary. You have to appease this minority or you will not get the nomination. Trump owns this minority. If you do not believe me ask Ted Cruz. Who was obliterated by Trump in the last primary never to return to his pre-Trump heights, always to be know forevermore as Lying Ted.
