I will preface this by saying there is no hate in my heart. I am not a Nazi, White Supremest, Skinhead or Anti Semite. But I am a history buff especially when it comes to WWII. In my opinion one of the best propaganda films of all time is "Triump Des Willens" by Leni Riefensthal made in 1934. In addition to being a cinematic masterpiece it is the perfect snapshot of history from Germany during the rise of Adolph Hitler. It should be mandatory viewing at the high school level. Unfortunately it is banned from YouTube and just about every other mainstream forum due to its "content". You can buy it on Apple TV and I suggest you do before it is simply no longer available.
In my opinion it's "content" is history and should be readily available on every platform.
I watched it again tonight and was left shaking my head. First and foremost the film personifies hard work, national unity and pride. Farmers are clearly revered and the roles of both women and men are both clearly defined. In the world we live in farmers are being pushed out by liberal freaks with a climate agenda. We are having transgender's crammed down our throats (literally in the beer we drink) and traditional values have become secondary to the "woke" crowd.

I agree. I had heard of it but never watched it. I think I will. The Woke may yet produce something similar. Were the Nazis merely another version of "Woke" at a different point in time? Should there have been another film named perhaps "Failure of Evil"? There was "Judgement at Nuremberg".
It is fortunate that we have not raised up a "politician" with the mesmerizing oratory powers of an Adolph Hitler. Perhaps our size and diversity is also a balance. The Red is a counterbalance to the Blue. Germany is only half the size of Texas, and only 2.5 times the size of New York State.

And in spite of our criticism of the internet it still allows a spread of views. Let that be a note of optimism.
The next election in the US for president will be huge and frankly I hope Trump disappears. I have no particular preference as to how but he precludes many Rep. from supporting the right.
The point is that the Dems know that the arrest kept his followers interested its designed to split the Rep.

I agree. But I don't know if Trump would "take one" for the team'. He's not very teamish when it comes to who is on top.

My initial dislike of him was his utter narcissism, and age is not making him mellow. The dream would be he dies naturally or not and the Rep. get the votes he has won over. Whats the plan! If you read Jo Nova its clear that the world does not buy the rammed down the throat narrative anymore and its in the climate space and the LGBT that the shift is happening fastest, I think vaccine issues will follow strongly. My view on the mRNA vaccine is that its a poor vaccine and it injures, but from what I can see its way less than 1%, so far to high but no existential threat. joannenova.com.au/

I've been disappointed with some stances/positions Ron has taken but I will still support him over Joe.

Found the movie here and here but did not find it on Apple, just a trailer. Thanks, I actually saw that on YouTube but did not want the commentary so I decided to pay the 10 bucks or whatever it was on Apple TV. I can't help but think how good it must have felt for the Germans to have pride in their nation after years of oppression forced on them by the Treaty of Versailles. It's easy to see how many of the people in Germany bought into what the Nazis were selling. Nationalism, discipline, hard work and pride seem easy selling points to a population with a long storied history. This is not a pro-nazi/anti-semitic thread but much of what Riefensthal is focusing on in her film seems like wholesome family values when compared to what is being crammed down our throats nowadays. Flash forward 90 years and much of what Trump is selling is eerily similar and I can see how he has built an almost fanatical base. His MAGA slogan hits home with much of a nation yearning for a return to family values. With that being said my wife and kids think I am some kind of closet Nazi because I watch stuff like this.

I would question the source of this article ... NPR. Maybe in their "Hood"?

I am in the minority, even though there are guns galore around me.

It was a beautiful day here. Open the web and it was terrible. I suppose it depends on the definition of "dealt with" (didn't bother to read an article from NPR). As a medic I did, indeed, treat multiple victims of gun violence including a fatality. Of course I also dealt with far more suicides (and suicide attempts), drug abusers, car wrecks, industrial reportables, bikes vs cars, and of course more heart attacks than I can count.
