Our whole blimp didn't cost anywhere near what your missile did. What's that say?

It's carnaval time throughout Latin America. We heard that the best place to experience it was Cozumel, so we drove down to Playa del Carmen and took the ferry across and stayed a couple of nights. I took more videos than pics, and I don't want to share vids here, but carnaval was actually a lot of fun. (Yes, you do see that right. One of those things is not like the others ... ) It looks like we weren't the only foreigners there: You know, even getting there just before sunset was quite nice. This is the sunset. Although you can't see it, across the water where the sun is setting is Playa del Carmen: Snorkeling is great just outside our door, but there is no place else on earth like Cozumel. These pictures are from our hotel room balcony, but we didn't stay in the hotel room much. All along this part of the coast, as soon as you get off those rocks, you have great snorkeling. In this area, the water is about 10 - 15 feet deep and just crystal clear. I take pictures sometimes while snorkeling, but not on this trip. On this trip, Mrs. SLH and I were just swimming up and down the reefs and rocks and sponges just taking it all in. As nice as it is above the water, it is even nicer below it. (These pics are morning pics. Here, like from our condo, the colors change as the sun moves across the sky): Of course, any time we come to Cozumel, there are always cruise ships parked down south of San Miguel. This picture will round out the post, but I actually took it from the ferry as we were arriving. I was sitting just perfectly to catch the sunset over the bow of the cruise ship: Yeah, the arthritic joints don't hurt here. I can swim every day and keep the heart healthy. And we have many places to visit that we just love. Cozumel is not too far from us, and out of all the places we have visited, it has been our favorite from our first snorkel tour there. We go down there about every 4 - 6 weeks these days.
