I thought this was Australia?
Silverton was used as one of the locations; you can see why.

I once had a pillow like that. Fell off the bed and became what I am today. Puffins... Weird or what?

My son told me about a widow who had a pristine Porsche 911 in her garage, 19k miles. I made her an offer and she took it. Very fun to drive!

Had a VW GTI, rabbit, and beetle. My son Matt has a 944. I suppose that's it. I find them to be more expensive than American to maintain and repair, and I scratch my head when I hear about "German engineering". Nothing in $1000 spark plug replacement jobs sound well engineered to me. That said, I'm liking this 911.
Anyway, this is just a fun car, not a daily driver. It has a stiff clutch and is a little jumpy. It will do 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds.

That said, I did enjoy road testing some of the offerings from the Continent but ..... with reliability being my main criterion, I found Toyota and Subaru to be tops.** ** I don't need excitement. Purely by chance, I spotted this today: CR’s 10 Most Reliable Cars, Subaru Forester Shines Bright AgainToyota 4Runner (87) Toyota Camry Hybrid (87) Toyota Camry (86) Toyota RAV4 Prime (84) BMW X5 (82) Subaru Forester (82) Toyota RAV4 (80) Acura RDX (80) Toyota Corolla (77) Toyota Highlander Hybrid (75) I can't understand how a BMW got into that group. My current vehicle is a Forester.
