The Net Zero Ship Starting To Sink It's looking bad down on the Little Big Horn. I was rooting for the Indians.

Yes Ratty a floating molten salt reactor is a dream
We in NZ have variable hydro climate driven and they could sail a 2000Mw unit down for a six month contract cooling water everywhere adjacent to major markets even seasonal movement is realistic and finally all maintenance centralized.

Some members here may be part of MISO. It is painfully obvious if one had to rely on wind and solar, that -14F last night would be a tad bit uncomfortable. www.gridstatus.io/live/miso

Millions of Americans in New England would face an elevated risk of heat and power shortfalls during the winter if a potential plan to shutter a major natural gas terminal proceeds, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) warned this week. x.com/ClimateDepot/status/1722275529859178784?s=20

Rising financing costs and prices for equipment make it harder to develop clean-energy projects as industry investors increasingly weigh the risks of providing capital against the benefits of reducing carbon emissions, investment firm executives say. “The irrational exuberance, all the excitement about clean energy is clearly getting squeezed out” of a market that can no longer afford it, said David Foley, a senior managing director at Blackstone who leads the asset manager’s energy group. He joined other financiers in discussing the topic at the SuperReturn Energy conference in New York this week. www.wsj.com/articles/rising-costs-present-new-hurdles-for-clean-energy-70c06c13?mod=WTRN_pos4&cx_testId=3&cx_testVariant=cx_160&cx_artPos=3

There is now a warning for this winter.
Watchdog Has Grim Winter Warning: There May Be Blackouts
Now, NERC is saying that "There is not enough natural gas pipeline and infrastructure to serve all the gas generation in certain big areas like PJM, MISO, New York, and New England," according to the agency's director for reliability assessment and performance analysis.
The reason there are not enough gas pipelines is because opposition to new gas pipeline projects is so severe that getting a gas pipeline built has become an occurrence similar to a miracle.
