Anyone who thinks that the US is not at war with Russia is deaf, dumb and blind….predominantly dumb. Yes, but not a single US soldier has been injured or died. If you think of the value in Russian forces attrition to NATO, its a bargain. The total cost of this adventure remains to be seen for all of us. |

The military industrial complex Ike warned us about is doing quite well. In a year where the Dow Jones is down about 10%, Raytheon is up 14%, Lockheed Martin is up 36% YTD, Northrop Grumman 38%, General Dynamics is up 20%.
I should have seen this coming and changed my portfolio to compensate. But then again I have a conscience and can sleep at night.

But how will the idiots in Washington react? Will they resort to some attempt to implement Petraeus’ “coalition of the willing” fabricated from some NATO troops and some of our own? Petraeus so far has had two significant ideas in his life: As a cadet he married his boss’s, the Superintendent of West Point’s, daughter, and choosing to desert his CIA men dying in Benghazi to avoid embarrassment of Obama and Hillary Clinton. I havnt seen this in MSN, but in the last 24hrs, it appears Irans weapons manufacture assets have been attacked, likely by drones. Their drone manufacturing occurs in underground bunkers it seems, so effects from this attack remain to be seen in how this may aid Ukraine.
