Was the Ukraine an independent country or not? Do they need Russia's approval to make decisions? How would you feel if China deposed a rightfully elected President of Mexico and then placed missile batteries on the the Mexico/US border? Rules for thee, but not for me? I think that we just have to choose sides. We can hate the Deep State and the Russian government, they are not mutually exclusive.
Russia annihilates and then absorbs interesting and valuable nations and cultures. The world is a worse place with a giant Russia spreading across Asia.

Don't forget, ruthless though he may be, Putin is a Nationalist. The bankrupt petrodollar is swirling the drain. He is trying to extricate Russia from the global economic crash that is coming,as is China. I hope he succeeds.

Additionally, the fact that it is taking days,with low casualties, shows Putins restraint. I hope they stay low on both sides. The Roman Empire failed for the same reasons ours is. The parallels are astounding.

The Civil War in the Ukraine has been going on for over 8 years and the Russian speakers have been bearing the brunt of it. They haven't killed 14,000 Ukraine area people in the last 8 years. I don't take sides, but I sure understand how I would feel if Russia was supplying arms etc to nut job Democrats with the idea of killing sane folks. |
