The big question is: Will conformational bias rule?  Is this “new data” expected to make the models run less hot?  I’m skeptical.

My question is, why not the Eemian? Temperatures were warmer than present, 95% of Greenland ice sheet melted etc.

However, one thing can already be stated: the warming of the last 20 years has been caused more by change in the clouds than by the classical greenhouse effect.

X axis is log or something otherwise possibly realistic.
the fall in CO2 in the ice age's tends to weaken the argument for CO2 being the temperature control. How would you ever escape an iceage.

The method of measurement also changes over time.

Clearly pre 50's or so relys more and more on proxy data, post 50's (at least at some point) is likely to be at a fixed point, ie, mauna loa.

The relationship between the 2 requires a lengthy text for scrutiny, something the graph doesn't allow.

Good science works to bring society the best possible images of the real world. The emissions scenarios of today’s climate science are delivering distorted pictures that compromise both understanding and well-informed policymaking. Until the climate science community addresses this fundamental problem of scientific integrity, its potential to contribute to pragmatic solutions for the vexing, extraordinarily difficult challenge of climate change will be unnecessarily compromised. Climate change has been solved countless times in fanciful models, but it is the real world that matters.

It surprises me a little that Pielke Jr. is still such a true believer.
