UAH Tropics are back to their lows of ~2012. Overall UAH downward trend for the tropics from 2015 continues ... with seemingly much greater variance since Hunga Tonga. ENSO values are generally lower than in the early parts of SC24.

The solar Geomagnetic AP Index lows for solar cycles 24 and 25 are similar to cycles 12 and 14. Their peak AP activity is lower. We will see how that translates into temperatures.

I'll just leave this here... Sorry, what? Erm, what about the 42°c we had back in July 2022? Or the Met office telling us that 2022 was the hottest year EVER..(all down to a triple La Nina BTW).

Was it an official site if not then did you look to see if Greenwich was not hotter. Lets be clear Greenwich has warmed something like 6 to 8C since 200 years ago. However no fool would pretend that is a valid site due to UHI. Then why is Heathrow which is within the M25 considered a UHI free zone, the climate has warmed but the centre of Cambridge is impacted by humans as is Heathrow thus not valid in any discussion on climate change unless deceit is your goal.
I am over this BS.
And yes the world is warmer than in the LIA.

If I had to hear Jacinda Ardern speak on a frequent basis I would feel a little testy too Non

I am over this BS. And yes the world is warmer than in the LIA. The lad who produced this has been doing a series of stats over past few weeks. There's not much detail however....I'd implicitly trust anything he posts, I've been aware of him for years and he is a warmist...but dedicated to weather stats (how ambiguous the official stats are is clearly another story) My take however....as time goes on the latest x temp is always going to be pushed later regardless. I'm surprised how many are still so old! Some, really old! Out of the top 12 temps, half predate many of our births

UAH global LT temperature deviation for January 2023 drops another -0.1 degree C from December. The tropics continue downward to -0.38C from -0.35C. Since the last El Nino high of early 2016 (nearly 7 years ago) the butcher's bill is: Globe -0.68C, Tropics -1.38C, N.Hem -0.92C and S.Hem -0.65C. Don't know how anyone could miss the warming in that. Karen is turning purple. Ya gotta breathe darling.
