I was a self employed decorator for most of my working life but took a job in a local DIY store in the paint & wallpaper department when I turned 60. Always my plan to start taking things a bit easier when I reached 60 and just fortunate a job came up still within my comfort zone. Won't get my state pension until I'm 66 now and my private pensions will start when I'm 65 so I'm only a few years to go. If you can afford to I'd certainly consider cutting your hours down and taking a less stressful job until you can fully retire.it's nice getting your life back and having time with the family while everyone's well enough to enjoy it.
