I'm sorry to bring this up but its started.

30,000 people are jetting in to Glasgow from all over the world to tell us not to travel as it's killing the planet.

The local and national news outlets are full of unsubstantiated, unproven sound bites 24/7 of how sea levels are rising, polar ice and glaciers melting and the planet is burning up and it's all my fault for driving 6 miles to and from work every day when there's only one bus an hour and none on Sundays.

I don't know how I'm going get through this sh1t for the next two weeks without either 1 going mad or 2 falling out with my wife who loves to play the devil's advocate (although I think she secretly agrees with me).
I've already started drinking, any advice how I can get through this and stay sane? 

I know I can just turn off the tv or radio (I can't at work and the news is recycled every hour( local Scottish news station), but I want to know what the buggers are up to.

Is there something woody that you can burn great piles of without going to jail?  Coal works too.  Learn to send smoke signals like "F__k Joe Biden" or any local favorite.  They might not be able to see it from Glasgow ... but it'll relieve the frustrations.  And the neighbors might even like it.

Thanks Mo'boy we have two log burning stoves. Already had one going this week and as the temps have now dropped near freezing this weekend I shall now fire the other one up in honour of the great Greta whose gracing us with her presence😁😁

Boris thinks he's James Bond, Greta is claiming that naff 14 year olds are the 'real' world leaders, Joe is asleep while he waits to see if any of the ridiculous 'targets' the Woke administration is promising can even get past Congress! India China and Russia ignores them, Brazil told them to get stuffed, and the rest of the posturing con artists are "reconfiguring" their targets to stretch Zero 50 to Zero 70 and that seems pretty okay with everyone so I guess the maths are as creative as the modelling they're based on.



...meanwhile, a couple of them not quite up with the pace of the 'tweaking' or out of the loop, like the Prince of Ponces Charlie, oh, and Boris, and a very happy and excited Greta, are still telling us we only have months to live.



The Pacific Islands are crying tears of blood pleading for a few more billion before their islands drown. ... and nobody asked them what they propose to spend it on? A coffer dam? Give it to China to build them bigger islands, they seems to be good at building islands. ... Not one journo asked them. Why not? It's OUR money they want.



Truth is that recent survey has revealed that no islands are inundated and that a large percentage of them (including Kirribati, the original "canary in the mine of rising oceans) have gained acreage!



What a bare faced bloody con! What frauds they are.



And to top off my utter disgust with the whole charade, it's now reported that China has petitioned the conference for ...1 trillion dollars... towards it's efforts to combat climate change.

There you go, tighten that belt 'cos China needs your pension money more than you do.

C'mon, you know you gotta do it to save the planet!



How can anyone, over the age of two, accept that China, who can put spaceships on the moon, still qualifies by the extremely fluid and flexible standards of the COP26 Climate Cultists as a "developing nation"??


So... "the clock is ticking" for a planet wide extinction in the morning speeches but nobody really needs to worry about it until 2070 by the afternoon.



And that's just on day one! No wonder Joe went to sleep. He's probably the only one there who actually doesn't realise that the whole thing is a massive con.

COP25 was celebrated by many as a total failure, but when the fine print was published, somehow the reports showed there was an "official" agreement that global warming would not be allowed to go above 1.5C over the 1850 level.  There doesn't appear to be any science behind this number and I haven't been able to determine if and how an agreement was actually reached.  This is like the IPCC, whoever writes the summary dictates the results regardless of what the scientific reports show.

I'm worried about what the COP26 report will claim.

I'm sure that, at a minimum, it will claim whatever is required to keep them in business.  Whoever "THEM" includes.  If it includes the primary forces behind the Great Reset, there will need to be a well-organized counter offensive launched.
