This is all so sad, and reflects terribly on the sport administrators and the athletes concerned.

However if we are in the game of being blind to obvious genetic difference between individuals then maybe a hoarse could identify for the 1500m running or maybe a dolphin for the swimming the high jump for a bird has to be interesting.
Peak oil has not been reached after 20 to 50 years of prediction so any optimism that we are at peak stupidity or delusion I feel is premature.
