I'd like an informal meeting with Putin to ask, whatever missiles you might have programmed for Oklahoma, could you please just unplug them? At some point Biden's going to say the wrong thing.

Won't help. This is Putin's idea of fun. Think of Joe as the idiot on the floor. And if you want to see the results of wokeness, find the whole movie and watch the last few scenes.

Yes, the movie is an early indictment of progressive, woke thinking. Alex is an irredeemable career criminal. No innovative government program or policy change will alter that.

OK. It's been a long night and I just let my hair down ... It seems clear enough that China is preparing for war. China shows no sign of toning down the harsh rhetoric with the U.S. during the visit of Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman, who on Monday held “frank and open” talks with Foreign Minister Wang Yi and one of his deputies in the Chinese city of Tianjin.
Underscoring an increasingly adversarial relationship between the world’s two richest superpowers, Chinese officials accused the U.S. of “coercive diplomacy,” questioned the moral high ground with which the U.S. has mustered a coalition of international partners against it and warned the U.S. to stop meddling in Taiwan or Xinjiang issues.
They also presented Sherman with two lists of action — the lists included revoking sanctions on Communist Party officials, lifting visa bans for students, making life easier for state-affiliated journalists and reopening the door for Confucius Institutes — in the hope that Washington, D.C., will follow through.www.politico.com/news/2021/07/26/beijing-demands-biden-adminsitration-500740Value of US Agricultural Products & Exports to China & Imports from China Jun 28, 2021 Agricultural exports from the United States were valued at 135.7 billion U.S. dollars in 2020 and were expected to increase to 164 billion U.S. dollars by 2021. That later figure may be unlikely.
China: Top Market for U.S. Ag Exports • China (including mainland, Hong Kong, and Macau) is the largest export market for U.S. agricultural products. • In 2017, U.S. agricultural exports to China reached $23.8 billion, over 17 percent of U.S. total agricultural exports.
China was the United States' largest supplier of goods imports in 2019. U.S. goods imports from China totaled $451.7 billion in 2019, down 16.2% ($87.6 billion) from 2018, but up 52.4% from 2009. U.S. goods imports from China are up 342% from 2001 (pre-WTO accession). What should the US response be?The writing is on the wall. China is going to war, one way or the other. If Biden had any gumption, the US government could easily buy the entire amount of ag exports to China. In fact, more if they wanted to. Given the debt they are accumulating, this would be a mere drop. Pocket change really. Would be interesting to see the response if the President canceled ALL exports to China based on National Security (starting right now) ... and to any other nation that attempted to replace the lost supply. Perhaps all imports as well. Time to fight fire with fire. Perhaps all food products could require a payment in "certified" microchips, which we seem to need. Given the effects of current weather on World and Chinese ag production, China might be hard pressed to make up the shortfall. Who will feed China? Yes, they do supply us with a few critical materials (rare earths and drugs are among them) ... but plastic umbrellas and toasters are not among them. We might have to scramble to replace or substitute certain things ... but history shows we do our best when we are forced to scramble. Might just be what we need. Would China consider that an act of War? Maybe. But they are already preparing for war. Better to get "the jump" while the odds are on our side. OK, smack me around a bit.
