[ Snip ] Fascinating. Playing with the graph, it seems that all of the recent cooling has been in the southern hemisphere. The northern hemisphere has flatlined. The scientific method is to keep playing till it gives the result you need. If you can't get the desired result, make something up.  |

"The IPCC statement accurately asserts that "climate states" such as weather events or the occurrence of an El Niño cannot be predicted very far in advance." Theo might disagree with that statement.

Shiveluch Volcano erupted.
Sounds like dust hit stratosphere, another decent cooling event.

Like 3 large eruptions in 3 locations in the last 4 days. And that other Colombian volcano just winding up. Three or four strataspheric events in a week could really crank down the incoming. A good time to be looking at data.
